System Requirements

Before installing OCR Xpress for Java, make sure your computer system meets the minimum requirements detailed below:

x86_64 architecture
Java Development Kit (JDK) 8

Java Runtime Environment: Oracle Java SE 1.8

To check which version, if any, you currently have installed, run the following:

java -version

Maven 2.2.1 or greater

To check which version, if any, you currently have installed, run the following:

mvn -version

Operating System

OCR Xpress for Java has been tested on the Linux (64-bit) operating system.

OCR Xpress for Java has been tested on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (64-bit) and CentOS 6.6. It should also run on other Linux distributions, as long as they fully satisfy the requirements listed in this section.
